Loring stepped forward, extending his hand. "Come with me. We can find the real Eye of Eternity and decide its fate together."

Kira hesitated, then nodded. "Agreed. But I want to know one thing: why? Why are you doing this?"

Loring looked at her, his eyes filled with determination. "Because the world is worth saving. Because the end of the world doesn't have to be the end of everything."
